Gay Men's Retreat, 24-26 September 2010 Are you in need of a little ‘time-out’? Would you appreciate an opportunity to reflect, to remember, to reconnect in the company of other like-minded gay and bisexual men? We’d love to welcome you to this year’s Gay Men’s Retreat at a beautiful small-group residential venue deep in the countryside. There are a couple of places still available for those who would like to join us. Our informal focus this year is around the theme of Uncertainty. This is a gentle and nourishing weekend offering stillness, meditation, simple ritual, support and listening, all within a safe and sacred space. We welcome gay and bisexual men interested in your own spiritual awareness, from any faith tradition – or none.
Thelki at The Archway, Keswick now fully re-opened After an extended period for some structural renovations, The Archway is now fully open again and welcome people for a range of massage therapies (Thai, Balinese, Shiatsu, Hot Stones, and Taoist Body Electric). I offer a quiet and sacred space for counselling and spiritual direction for those seeking guidance, and welcome a growing number of people on short private retreats at the house.
Regular quiet meditation sessions Starting this autumn, regular late afternoon or early evening periods of informal contemplation and meditation will be available. These will provide an opportunity for quiet 'time-out'. No previous experience is necessary. Simple guidance will be available about how to make the most of such time, if required.
Men's Rites of Passage 2011 The powerful Rites of Passage for men, leading to male initiation, are available at two venues in Wales and Scotland in 2011. I can strongly recommend these Rites from my own personal experience for any man interested in spiritual awareness and growth.
New articles Several new articles have been added to the website, including reflections on - Death and dying - Living in the unknown - Understanding 'sin' - Surrendering the human will
As always, please do get in touch to share or discuss any aspect.
