A successful Taoist massage workshop was held here in Keswick on 22 January with a small group of regular clients and others interested in this form of bodywork that combines intimate full-body massage and breathwork - and in a non-sexual context. These techniques have been known in the East for centuries and have been reintroduced in the West through the teachings and practices of Mantak Chia and Joseph Kremer and the Body Electric Schools. This was a highly practical, hands-on, workshop introducing several of the techniques. As always, plenty of time was given at the beginning to establishing the context and creating trust with avoidance of judgement. Further workshops will be arranged in response to demand.
