As the year end approaches, and after a legthy period of inner reflection, the time has come to step forward into (semi-) retirement from my professional consulting work.  A trawl around the rest of this website will show the number of other directions in which I'm travelling and I want to give these more time and focus.  I have been working on organisational consulting for over twenty years, primarily with public and voluntary sector organisations; during that time I've probably worked with around 350 different organisations.  I've been involved in management training, strategic planning, organisational reviews, locum management, report writing, research and evaluation, problem-solving and crisis management.  For the most part, it's been great fun, and I've worked with some fantastic organisations.

tpv.gif It's not completely the end of the consulting practice.  I'm still involved with some sports governing bodies through the Modern Sport programme, and I will maintain my engagement with hospice governance.  I'm also likely to act as an associate tutor to the new Masters in Hospice Leadership programme at Lancaster University Management School.

Stepping into 2008 and the future is exciting.  These are the final few months of my training with The Interfaith Seminary, culminating in ordination next year.  I'm increasingly engaged in bodywork, massage and spiritual counselling .  I shall be returning to Thailand again soon for further training and travelling.  There's a whole new world opening up.
